Returning to the Britt Festival in Oregon 

I'm thrilled to announce I'll be returning to Jacksonville, OR for the beautiful Britt Festival Orchestra series backing up the wonderful Measha Brueggergosman on a new piece of music by Gabriel Kahane entitled "emergency shelter intake form." It explores the reality of facing the need to fill out such a form, a reality for many of our neighbors and fellow citizens.

Commissioned to write a piece to accompany the latest work by Lita Albuquerque at the art summit called Desert X at Sunnylands, this opening performance will include a new composition by Kristen for 15 voices, with 3 dancers.
