Busy singing = No updating

My regrets for not posting about the shows I've been doing recently, but I'm mending my ways. On the heels of magnanimous performances with the Los Angeles Master Chorale (Lagrime di San Pietro) I played a memorable and most lovely house concert in Philadelphia and am now gearing up for Christmas shows. Kicking off the season with the Monument Lighting in Baltimore, then to Los Angeles to host a Monday Monday at the Hotel Cafe and resume my role as Christmas Toedtman, musical director of the 6th Annual Very Janky Christmas Spectacular! Check out the shows page.

Follow me on Spotify!

Friends and supporters always ask how they can help spread the KT word. Sharing with your friends and family by any means possible is always the key and here's yet another way to do just that: Follow me on Spotify. Once I have 250 followers, I can verify my station and it becomes a useful tool for me.

Street Symphony: Music for Our World

I'm thrilled for the opportunity to give my TIME to such a worthy cause as singing for our brothers and sisters who are without homes. Street Symphony, started by musicians from the LA Phil, brings music and attention to a part of our community many of us easily ignore. The people who attended our concert at the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles made up a beautiful audience. Plus we had a very informative Q & A afterwards.

First Download Donation In!

Happy to report that website download sales from June added up to $110 and are on their way to the Baltimore Algebra Project, the well-deserving charity I want the funds from the record to go to. Check them out and download the album for all your friends and family, co-workers, long-long relatives and strangers you'd like to know!

Introducing: Baltimore Algebra Project

It took a while to find just the right organization, but I did: One that believes that education is a constitutional right and which is committed to the education of underserved kids. The Baltimore Algebra Project is "a youth-led and youth-run non-profit organization promoting math literacy and jobs in a knowledge based society." Check them out here and be inspired to donate as much as you want and can when downloading my songs (available May 29, or sooner if you're on my mailing list).
I'm so excited to announce that all download proceeds from Limbo (Baltimore | Los Angeles) will go directly to this well-deserving organization.

A Very Janky Christmas Spectacular

Our fourth annual Adult Variety show returns! This year with John C Reilly ("Janksy") as our host, Kristen "Christmas" Toedtman as Music Director and it wouldn't be Janky without Pink Santa ("Michael Dunn") in our midst. Your attendance helps us save Christmas. UPDATE: Our 3 shows SOLD OUT so we've added a fourth show Friday night at 9:30. 300+ Angelenos can't be wrong!

Giving Thanks

It's my favorite holiday - giving thanks for all I have around me. Just back from a beautiful trip to see family in Buenos Aires (see recent pictures in Instagram feed), getting ready to break bread with my Friend Family in Los Angeles (FRIENDS-GIVING!) and then hit the ground running to prepare the music for the house band for this year's 4th Annual Very Janky Christmas Spectacular! Kristmas Toedtman and the Mistle-Tones. Stay tuned for more information and if you're in town DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW.

Back in Los Angeles

I had a great time opening up for David Poe in New York City and Baltimore last week. In fact, I put a choir together both in NYC and Baltimore and am full of excitement like one has at the beginning of a long and beautiful journey. My journey has a choir singing. You can see photos of the Baltimore show on the PHOTOS page. Anyone take pictures in New York? (I saw you, I know you did!) Please share them! Be sure to check out David's new record and don't miss him when he comes through your town!
